When we're together it's officially known as 'Daddy and Mady time'. Personally I think it's the best thing ever.
Walking to the bus stop with her sweet Billabong 'girl not boy' back back...it has a detatchable lunchbox. Flipping sweet.
The best picture ever...right before the bus closed it's doors and drove off to school. I felt like this in my heart everyday I went to school, until the day I graduated. I secretly wanted to let her skip school, I know exactly how she felt. I knew there would be tears, but she was tough, and did what she had to do. Dad didn't cry though, nope, no way, not until the bus drove off anyway.
Getting off the bus, so, so big! After this week the bus will drop her off at her pre-school and she'll stay there the rest of the day. Got to get her ready for 1st grade and the all day classes.

great post heath!! what a big girl mady has grown up to be! i loved the picture of her on the bus...what a face - poor thing! oh, and please tell her i think her backpack totally rocks! wish i had had such a cool one when i went to school! maybe i wouldn't have been such a nerd then!
